Small Business Legal Clinic on Trademark, Copyright and Patent Laws

The city of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department, Small Business Division, will host a legal clinic on trademark, copyright and patent laws.

The seminar, which costs $45 for non-attorneys and $65 for attorneys, will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at Phoenix School of Law, 4041 N. Central Ave., room 301.

Ron Kisicki of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP will train attendees in arts and entertainment, “technotainment,” and intellectual property and the relationship to patent, trademark and copyright searches and applications.

The workshop is part of a series of legal clinics to educate small business owners and entrepreneurs about law-related topics crucial to business success.
